Arduous, Inc - Marine Interiors

Our History

G & C Marine Inc. (formerly Arduous Inc.) founded by David L. Berry, has been an innovative leader in the marine interior industry for 25 years. In the late 1970's, Dave began to channel his expertise as a cabinetmaker into producing marine interior products. Working initially as an independent contractor, Dave developed a line of cost effective, low fire load, aesthetically pleasing interior products for marine vessels. He established his own company in 1982 where he continued to personally design the aluminum marine products it manufactured and installed. His innovative lightweight marine furniture set the standards for high-speed marine commuter transit seating for the "passenger only" ferry system in the United States. In 1992, Dave sold the designs and prototypes of his products to Turnbull of Washington, Inc.and served as Director of Product Development and Plant Manager, helping the company to become an established marine seating manufacturer. Dave started Arduous in 1997 to produce an expanded range of high quality products featuring his innovative designs. He has assembled a top-notch team of professionals to assure high quality and outstanding service.
